1. Sunday I visited with Al McClure. He has finished his second
treatment of chemotherapy and the tumor in his lung has shrunk by 50
percent.

2. Jon Dybdahl, president of Walla Walla College, is taking chemo
treatments and plans to have Stem Cell transplant therapy soon.

3. More than 2,000 have attended the Mark Finley-Shawn Boonstra series
in Denver. One thousand are non-members.

4. 55,000 people have returned the questionnaire for the Adventist
Health Study-2. If you have not completed the survey, and would like to
participate, call toll free 1-866-558-6268

5. In Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Sabbath school class members went to a
small town, 10 miles away to deliver door to door the Sow 1 Billion
cards. Last Sabbath the pastor had the class members stand as they
praised the Lord for two requests for Bible studies that arrived that
week.

6. In Yarmouth, Nova Scotia there is no Adventist Church. A few
members in the community were joined by academy students who considered
it a mission project to hand out the Sow l Billion cards. Seven new
Bible studies have been started as a result of requests from the cards.

7. A man living in Battle Creek, Michigan heard that his family had
once been connected to the Adventist Church. He did not know much about
the church, so decided to visit the Adventist Historic Village. After
the visit, the man called his uncle, who was also a non-practicing
Adventist. As a result of the contact at Adventist Historic Village the
whole family is now back in the church.

8. John and Sheryl Hersom are leading the S. Berwick Fellowship Group
in Maine where we have no Adventist Church Building. They have been
showing the Lonnie Melashenko Net 2003 evangelistic meetings by using a
DVD. 60 people have been attending, and 6 have requested baptism, and
15 more are studying for baptism.

9. Since the first Seeds convention in 1996, 4,400 people have
attended, and 1150 churches have been planted. The next convention will
be May 12-15 at Andrews University.

10. Nicolle Brisee, Southeastern Conference Women's Ministry Director,
conducted a series of meetings in Miami with 35 people being baptized.

11. James Zachary, who has been working with the Quiet Hour, has
passed away. Memorial service to be May 23, 2004. (This is not James
Zackrison, of the General Conference Sabbath School Dept.)

12. Samuel Monnier, former Associate Director of G.C. Church
Ministries from 1975-1991, passed away at his home, outside Geneva,
Switzerland. Memorial service to be May 1, 2004.
