Ojeda, whose family are members of the Ramona Adventist Church, died with a fellow soldier during an ambush in Iraq on May 1. He was 23. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday), May 11, at the Ramona Mortuary. A military funeral will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Ojeda joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1993; his parents and a sister are active members of the Ramona congregation. After graduating from Montecito High School in 1999 he enlisted in the army. While training at Fort Riley, Kansas, he met Leslie, his future wife. The couple's son, Angel, is 14 months old and has been living with his grandparents, Juaquin and Maria Ojeda.
