Here are one or two questions I might ask (and often do) to get my Sabbath School class discussion started or continued:
1. Other than biological reasons, why was Ishmael born?
2. Was God too hard with Ishmael?
3. Why was Abraham given the command to sacrifice Isaac?
4. What part did Sarah play in all of this?
