Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Great to hear about that series. Do you know if scientists will be offering their analysis on this program? I've always been very interested in Darwin and evolution. I'm reading Darwin's The Descent of Man now. We need a series that deals with these issues in a serious way. I'm looking forward to Pastor Boonstra's seminar.

I think Darwin was scared of God by false doctrine. Just like so many others are.

I'm curious to know who (besides Seventh-day Adventists) would attend this series.

Exactly. Darwin turned away from God who tortures humans in hell forever.

Eternity alone will count the souls whose conscience was wounded by this offensive doctrine,

There are other Christians besides SDAs who are interested in learning about the evidence supporting the concept of God as Creator.

So this evangelistic effort is specifically targeting other Christians?

I have a serious question. I keep coming across interview/articles and such with Ken Ham, of the Creation Museum. Why are amny Christians so direspectful of people who believe in science and/or evolution? And why can't one's faith be deepened by a knowledge of science? I know mine has. I can't put G-d in a box.

In my opinion, we should, at the very least, understand that others' beliefs can be a product of their experiences. We should be mindful and respectful of that.

I think there are many, many Christian scientists and believe in "science" but not evolution. I for one do not subscribe to the notion that science and evolution go together like peas and carrots. However, with that said, we have no right to be rude or disrespectful to other's, whether they be Christian or not.

Our character's are always to represent the Father's.

Indeed, I believe science proves the existence of God just as much as anything else in the physical world can. When you consider the complexities that involve just our plant alone and it's ability to sustain life, it is almost inconceivable NOT to believe in God and creation.

The video ]  ]"ThePriviledged Planet" should be required for every Christian that "believes" in evolution.

There is no question about that, however we should never compromise our beliefs to placate someone else and their "stiff" views.
