Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

The Man with Leprosy

The leper listened intently to his friend’s story about a man who was healing sick people in the area. “Would he heal me?” he questioned hopefully as faith sprang up in his heart. “I must find him,” he decided, and determined to search the countryside until he did.

Weeks later, he finally found Yeh-shuah, standing beside a lake, surrounded by a large crowd. Forgetting in his excitement the Yeh-oo-dee law forbidding him to mingle with healthy people, he crept nearer and nearer as he saw sick and dying people returned to full health. A woman in the crowd looked up into his face and screamed. People were falling over each other trying to get away from him.

Someone shouted crossly at him saying, “Get out of here! It’s against the law!”

The leper’s attention was riveted on Yeh-shuah: He could see or hear nothing else. He came face to face with him and fell on his hands and knees. In anguish he cried out, “Master, if you wish, you can make me whole!”

Yeh-shuah looked at the miserable wretch and laid his hand on him. “I do,” he said. “Be whole again.” At that moment, a change rapidly began to take place. The leper’s ears and nose and fingers grew back as his skin, nerves, and muscles were restored. Tears came to the man’s eyes as he thanked Yeh-shuah from the depths of his soul.

“Don’t tell anyone,” Yeh-shuah said to him. “Go to the priests, and after they have pronounced you well, present your offering.” The leper did go to the priests, but afterwards, he went around telling everyone what Yeh-shuah had done. He thought he was doing good by spreading the news, but in fact, such huge crowds came out to see Yeh-shuah that he had to stop his work for a time.

Some believe in "miracle" healings, such as Jesus performed during his stay here on Earth. "Miracles" are causes without effects, something physical happening caused only by a few words, for example. Words in themselves are only vibrating air molecules, incapable of doing much of anything physical except maybe hurting our ears if they're too loud.

Sometimes words contain instructions for someone or something to do something. That's how it worked in Jesus' case. By himself, he couldn't even heal a flea, but connected to God via the Holy Spirit, he had the power of the universe available to use for the good of mankind.

Within all of us is the technology to restore and heal us, nanotechnology, or sub-nanotechnology to give it some kind of name. Unfortunately we are too primitive to use this technology. For he who made us, activating these genetic repair mechanisms is a simple matter. To rapidly restore and heal a seriously ill person must involve many, many of these sub-nano biologicals.

The Holy Spirit did not turn on these healing mechanisms without a person's belief that it could actually work. Unbelief = No Healing. No one was ever healed who didn't believe God could heal them. They must first give their permission. When someone allowed Jesus to touch them, that was their permission, and only then could they be restored to health by the genetic repair mechanisms activated by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus could heal people, that is, ask the Holy Spirit to heal them, from a distance, too, but again, it required this belief/permission element of the patient for this invasive, potentially life-changing procedure.

Maybe someday humans will figure out how to repair their DNA and restore lost limbs or functions or cure diseases. Maybe they will have to access the powers of evil to undo its damaging effects on human systems to make it look like someone was "healed" from a disease evil forces caused in the first place.

Our mission on Earth is to serve others, just as Jesus did, because in the next life, that's what we will do, too. When Jesus fed the 5000 people, he had his disciples separate them into groups of 50 or 100. This is similar to what will happen in the Restored Kingdom of New Earth. Those who are chosen will be grouped with others with complementary skills. They will work together as a commune/community.

Tools, equipment, food, etc. will be shared. That's why Jesus told us not to worry if someone borrows or takes our stuff in our present life. Any possessions we have will be held in common with our team members. The members of our commune will be our family, as Jesus indicated, everyone who loves him is a family member, and therefore closely bonded with him and each other.

Does anyone question the need for technology in the next life? Without it, how are the crowns and harps and Thrones and Temple and city made? With magic words? Hardly. At the very minimum there must be metallurgical technology in order to make useful items. The crowns may be for identification of status, the harps may be some sort of communication device needed to produce polyphonic tones.

The leader of this highly advanced technological civilization reached the point of conquering death by repairing genetic decay, enabling human-like beings to live forever as long as they eat the Tree of Life fruit and drink the Living Water flowing from the Throne, both containing genetic repair mechanisms.

All we need to do is love Jesus as our Master and King, then follow his Rules of Conduct, the 10 Commandments, just as we would the laws of our country or code of ethics at our place of employment. If we are too weak to follow his simple rules in this life, we may not be chosen to join his work force in the next life.

Do we try to control others or use them to make a buck, or do we serve them? Those who are servants or poor or had a tragic first life will be rewarded with joy and the responsibility of surpervising those who had a life of ease and luxury, if any of them actually make it to the Kingdom.

If we work diligently to deactivate our selfishness and greed, perhaps we will be among the Chosen Ones. Otherwise, we will be unfit for service to God and be incinerated like contaminated biological wastes in a bright flash of fire.

The Paralyzed Man

When a paralyzed man’s friends brought reports of Yeh-shuah healing others as bad or even worse off than he was, they encouraged him to go. “But I’ve been such a wicked person!” he whispered hoarsely. “Even the Faris-Ahyos have no mercy on me. How could Yeh-shuah tolerate my disgusting presence? If only he would forgive my many wrongs, then I could die happy.”

He was indeed approaching death, and his friends immediately carried him on his stretcher to the house where Yeh-shuah was. Once there, they realized there were far too many people to come even within hearing distance of his voice. After a number of futile attempts at forcing their way in, they gave up in discouragement. The paralyzed man looked around in anguish, so close, yet so far.

Suddenly, an idea occurred to him. He told his friends to take him up the stairway to the tiled roof. After carefully making an opening large enough, they let him down through the roof at the feet of Yeh-shuah. Yeh-shuah looked down kindly at the gravely ill man wearing such a hopeful expression on his features.

“My son,” Yeh-shuah said, “Be happy, for your sins are forgiven.”

The despair that weighed down his soul vanished, and a new peace filled his being. His whole body tingled as it was restored to health, and he lay there serenely, too happy for words.

The Faris-Ahyos spies looked at each other and exchanged exultant glances. “Blasphemy!” they thought. “Only Elo-heem can forgive sins!” They were just about to confront Yeh-shuah when he looked at them hard. They cowered back, looking for a way to escape those piercing eyes.

“Why are your thoughts evil?” he asked them. “Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say ‘Get up and walk?’” He paused and looked down at the man on his bed. “But to prove to the Faris-Ahyos that the Son of Man can forgive sins, I say to this man, ‘Stand up, pick up your bed, and go home.’”

The old man jumped to his feet with the strength of youth, picked up his stretcher, and made his way out through the crowd while everyone looked on, speechless with amazement. They parted to give him room as he left, praising Elo-heem. Dumfounded and awestruck, they whispered among themselves, “We’ve never seen anything like it!”

Defeated, the Faris-Ahyos recognized the presence of a superior being, but their unbelief and hatred grew ever stronger. “His power comes from Saw-tawn,” they thought. They could not see that even the worst diseases afflicting humanity were not as terrible as bigotry and unbelief.

When he reached his home, the restored man’s family gathered around with tears of joy, hardly daring to believe their eyes. An unmistakable expression of joy and purity and peace replaced the marks of suffering on his features. No doubt or unbelief weakened their faith: This man and his family were now ready to lay down their lives for Yeh-shuah.

The work of Christ in cleansing the leper from his terrible disease is an illustration of his work in cleansing the soul from sin.

The leper who came to Jesus was contaminated with a fatal, incurable disease. So are we. All of us are contaminated with the Virus of Evil, a deadly poision rendering us nearly incapable of loving God enough to do whatever he tells us. The Ancient Writings call this disobedience "sin".

What is "sin"? Sin is the violation, in spirit or behavior, of the Code of Ethics of the Kingdom of the Stars. No one belonging to this Kingdom, located somewhere in outer space, would do anything to dishonor God or harm themselves or others.

Neither can we intentionally ignore or violate this Code of Ethics and expect to be rewarded with a job in the next life.

Quote:
It is his will to cleanse us from sin, to make us his children, and to enable us to live a holy life.

The Spirit of God, a sub-atomic life form which connects all living things, is responsible for the "miracle" healings in the Bible. Because we are deaf, dumb, blind, and crippled, we are unable to access this power to perform "miracles" like Jesus did.

We can, however, focus ourselves into conscious obedience to this Code of Ethics, the 10 C's, to demonstrate our willingness to be the obedient servants/slaves God is looking for. If we do this, we may be chosen to serve others in the Kingdom of the Stars, the 5th Kingdom, the only one that will never end. There, those who are chosen for their willing obedience when they lived on Earth will awaken in astonishment as children of God into an amazing surprise.

Like the leper, this paralytic had lost all hope of recovery.

Abandoned by the Pompous Pharisees and the Learned Doctors, the Paralyzed Man gave up all hope for relief from mental suffering and physical pain. Coldly, they pronounced him incurable and abandoned him to the wrath of God.

These Keepers of Religion regarded diseases as a sign of God's displeasure. They kept aloof from the sick and needy to protect themselves from contamination. Yet, these Leaders were often more guilty than those they held in contempt.

The same creative power that spoke life into the Dirt Man, Adam, a Son of God, spoke life into the dying Paralyzed Man. Via the Holy Spirit, the Creative/Healing/Life Sustaining force within us, this man's DNA was nearly instantanneously repaired.

More important, though was the awakening of his dead soul, the healing of his dirty and deformed "heart". This act, the restoration of our dead "souls" has happened to some of us, too.

We may be afflicted with painful, incurable (for us) diseases, but what is most important is our need for new hearts like the Paralyzed Man received. With a new, spiritual, heart, we can become the obedient servants God is looking for to populate the Restored Kingdom of New Earth. With a New Heart, a Great Light will sweep away the darkness of doubt and unbelief and the myths and superstitions that prevent us from seeing the LORD and his plan for us more clearly.

This must be our committment, to receive a New Heart, a willing spirit to do whatever the LORD has asked us. Then, the cares and pains of this life will fade as we focus our thoughts and energy on doing what pleases the LORD. In the next life, the LORD will find work, related to our ability, to keep us busy, and as a bonus, provide us all disease prevention measures to keep us healthy, forever.
