I have a serious question. I keep coming across interview/articles and such with Ken Ham, of the Creation Museum. Why are amny Christians so direspectful of people who believe in science and/or evolution?
I think there are many, many Christian scientists and believe in "science" but not evolution. I for one do not subscribe to the notion that science and evolution go together like peas and carrots. However, with that said, we have no right to be rude or disrespectful to other's, whether they be Christian or not.
Our character's are always to represent the Father's.
can't one's faith be deepened by a knowledge of science? I know mine has. I can't put G-d in a box.
Indeed, I believe science proves the existence of God just as much as anything else in the physical world can. When you consider the complexities that involve just our plant alone and it's ability to sustain life, it is almost inconceivable NOT to believe in God and creation.

In my opinion, we should, at the very least, understand that others' beliefs can be a product of their experiences. We should be mindful and respectful of that.
There is no question about that, however we should never compromise our beliefs to placate someone else and their "stiff" views.
