Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

I was just talking by phone with a friend who attended last night's Sandi Patti/Christian Edition concert. My friend said it was terrific and Sandi Patti really complimented Christian Edition!

Unfortunately, I was told the concert was not recorded!! What a loss!! I hope Sandi Patti and Christian Edition will consider doing a recording together!

That's how those musicians make their living. They'd prefer selling their own professionally recorded CDs, I'm sure, rather than have free recordings of a lesser technical quality floating about.

Christian Edition will be at the Carmichael Church in Sacramento this Friday evening, Sept. 14, kicking off the Northern California Conference Convocation that will be in the Convention Center on Sabbath. I don't think Sandi Patti will be with them, but it would have been great to hear the combination of voices.

hi Jeannie!

When I said it wasn't recorded, I meant, it wasn't professionally recorded. I understand the desire to prevent recording being done by the audience.

The concert with Christian Edition and Sandi was such
An incredible and inspirational night. Individually. CE
and Sandi bless people all across the country and the
world, but together it was truly unreal. The Lord was
truly magnified. The 1100 + person crowd was blessed
from the first note to the last. There were standing
ovations throughout the night. Sandi herself led the
standing ovations for Christian Edition. She said that
they were the best backup group that she has ever had
on her praise medley. AND, she wants to work with them
again. They made such an incredible combination. On the
last song of the concert (Wonderful World), she had the
guys sing with her on one of the last lines. Then,
before the last word, she turned around to CE and said,
“break into parts.” The guys broke into an 8 part harmony
behind Sandi that gave everyone chills. It was truly an incredible
moment, and a phenomenal way to end the concert.
Sandi and Christian Edition stayed and signed autographs,
took pictures, and sold CD’s until the last person had been accommodated.
What a wonderful spirit. AMS Agency (the company that
promoted the program) has been bombarded with
calls wanting to have another concert again with Sandi
and Christian Edition. They are already thinking about
the next time.

Christian Edition was part of a 450 voice choir with
Ralph Carmichael and the Sacramento Civic orchestra
this past weekend. I heard that the program was
absolutely incredible.
