Lorraine Bannis-Roberts, Dominica’s Minister of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs and Information will bring greetings from Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit. Darius Lecointe, Ph.D., JD, Dominican-born pastor, scholar and professor, will be the featured speaker. Dr. Lecointe is the Research Design Consultant at Ball State University and a former pastor with the East Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Honorees DASUS Appreciation Award Hon. Zilpha Theodore, Consul General, Commonwealth of Dominica DASUS Lifetime Achievement Awards Elder Mederick Fabien for his pioneering, church planting work. Pastor Mozart Serrant (posthumously) for his contribution to education and pastoral ministry in Dominica. -- Formed in 2004, DASUS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a forum for Dominicans of the Seventh-day Adventist faith to come together for events and projects that benefit causes at home.
