DASUS (the Dominica Association of Seventh-day Advenitsts in the U.S.) hosts the Fourth Annual Dominica Day under the theme ‘Building Community’ to commemorate Dominica’s 29th Anniversary

Formal Service/ Awards/ Divine Hour: 11:00 a.m.
Fellowship Luncheon: 1:30 p.m.
Advent Youth Meeting: 3:30 p.m.

New Rochelle Seventh-day Adventist Church, 456 Webster Ave New Rochelle, New York
Directions: Whitestone/Throgs Neck Bridge to I-95N to exit 15 (Pelhams). Bear right to Main Street. Left onto Webster Ave. (see INSURANCE sign on right) Continue on to church at 456 Webster Ave.

WHO:
Hon. Lorraine Bannis-Roberts, Dominica’s Minister of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs and Information will bring greetings from Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.

Darius Lecointe, Ph.D., JD, Dominican-born pastor, scholar and professor, will be the featured speaker. Dr. Lecointe is the Research Design Consultant at Ball State University and a former pastor with the East Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

DASUS Lifetime Achievement Awards
Elder Mederick Fabien for his pioneering, church planting work.
Pastor Mozart Serrant (posthumously) for his contribution to education and pastoral ministry in Dominica.
