Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Here is a question I might use to start a Sabbath School discussion going:

Why do Christians have a problem with other races when it is clean that the Bible says all races are equal?
Being a member of what looks like the favored group of God may mean you have less chance to go to heaven due to behaviour.
You may choose only one

I am somewhat confused. Since I don't believe that Salvation has anything to do with my behavior but instead Christ's behavior ... I guess I just can't comment on this question.

The Salvation Christ offers is for everyone without exception.
Our behavior shows the universe whether or not we have accepted that salvation. At the moment we accept Christ we are welcomed into His kingdom, and if we died we would be saved, but we must decide moment by moment to ask Him to live in our hearts. Thats where the great controversy comes in. We often forget and instead of going forward in our walk closer and closer to Him, we backslide and instead of showing Christs character we show what we are like without Him in our lives. This is a daily growing and that is what forming character is. If salvation had nothing to do with our behavior why would not Christ have just died for us and then just raptured the whole world into Heaven?
