This past decade has unsettling. I have lost several family members and friends.

Today I have learned that my granddaughter, Jessica, is going to file for divorce as her husband is not trying to help provide for the family. She needs the guidance of His wisdom to make the right decisions.

Today I learned that a dear friend will be returning to FL since the NW is too damp and dreary for her. She has been hurting the whole time. She needs the Lord to help find homes for the new possessions she has acquired in the last 3 months or so and funds to finance the trip home. She lost her husband about 5 months ago.


Today I learned that my best girlfriend just picked up the ashes of her father on Friday. He died last Sabbath afternoon. Billee needs our prayers for strength. She is a full time care provider for her husband that has been battling parkinsons for the last 17 years. The Lord allowed other ailments to fall on her as well but she has been struggling a lot longer than Job did.

God will satisfy our needs.

Need to tack on two more items.

My daughter's husband is having a difficult time with his liver...hepetitis. He was in hospital in February and nearly died. His recovery has been slow and painful not to mention, questionable as well.

Found out today that my ex will need to undergo a second mastectomy. The first time & first side, it had to be corrected by a secondary surgeon about 6 weeks later and we are talking about radical results.

So sorry to hear of the many health issues of your family and friends. Sometimes it feels overwhelming. There is so much suffering on this old ball of mud. One day there will be a place called Heaven where sin and Satan can not harm us. What a wonderful day that will be!
