Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Just because I have a jail record and am wanted as an ax murderer, con Artist, and political junkie doesn't mean that I have a "Telephone Voice"....

[con Artist mode-on] And if you believe this, I have this bridge I can sell you....[con Artist mode-off]

As you can see, I use my real name and not hide behind a fictitious one. I believe that what you see/read of me online/telephone is what you get. But then it's probably better to ask someone else to see if that's really true.

I think I am pretty much the same everywhere. However, there are things that I would share with close personal friends, whether on-line or face-to-face, that I would not share on a public forum. I certainly wouldn't talk to my children the same way I would talk to a girlfriend, etc......

We all have different aspects to our personalities which are triggered under different circumstances.

This topic reminds me of one of my favorite songs when I was a teenager - The Stranger by Billy Joel.

I still remember some of the words:

Well, we all have a face that we hide away forever, And we take them out and show ourselves when everyone has gone. Some are satin, some are steel, some are silk, and some are leather. They're the faces of The Stranger, but we love to try them on.

Hi Gail and others. I am pretty much the same here and there. I tend not to get angry in public. I am gracious and forgiving to strangers to a certain degree. Those who should know better I have a tendency to have less patience with. Injustice is what sets me off.

I find that when my heart is turned to the Lord nothing can change my peace and joyfulness.

Sista Gail,

We need to hide ourselves and grow smaller and smaller and let the Lawd come thru and show His personality. It's Him that needs to be magnified and me that needs to be small-i-fied...His personality that shines thru me, as I am only the instrument....Yes, the I AM needs to be fully revealed thru me!
