I tell ya'll what, we have been blessed over and over again, here lately.
We have this truck, it was Dan's, it is a standard and I can't drive it. So I finally talked Dan into selling it. We advertised it for about a month, not even a phone call came in on it. Then we had some vandals making trouble, and one of the windows got shot out of it. So now I am thinking I am going to have to have it towed somewhere to fix. So about two weeks pass, and it still has a broken window, because you know, life happens. Our next door neighbor wanted to look at it to possibly buy it, he turns it on, and the gas line breaks.
So this past Sunday, my dad is asking about the truck, and I tell him that now the gas line is broken. He says he will be by on Monday to look at it and to fix it.
Now honestly, my dad is a good guy, Bless his Heart, but really he has no business crawling around underneath a truck (he is 76 years old).
So Monday comes, Dad comes over has a look-see, and leaves to go get the necessary tools.
Literally ten minutes before Dad leaves his house to come over to mine, someone knocks on my door asking to buy the truck. You could have knocked me over with a feather. We got almost what we were asking for it too.
Oh, Oh, I almost forgot to say that when the window got shot out, we stopped advertising it being for sale. So you are looking at a good four (4) weeks of it NOT being advertised.
My son Jacob, keeps saying that the guy who bought it was an angel. I don't know, but I think he was guided by one.
