Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

One reminder alone remains: Our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of His crucifixion. Upon His wounded head, upon His side, His hands and feet, are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought. Says the prophet, beholding Christ in His glory: "He had bright beams coming out of His side: and there was the hiding of His power." Habakkuk 3:4, margin. That pierced side whence flowed the crimson stream that reconciled man to God--there is the Saviour's glory, there "the hiding of His power." "Mighty to save," through the sacrifice of redemption, He was therefore strong to execute justice upon them that despised God's mercy. And the tokens of His humiliation are His highest honor; through the eternal ages the wounds of Calvary will show forth His praise and declare His power. {GC 674.2}

Hallelujah!!! The sad thing is that few, even among those professing themselves to be Christian and sometimes Seventh Day Adventist Christian, believe that venue to be trustworthy. They are then left to humanistic theory
not of the leading of the Spirit of God, to draw their conclusions, an avenue that will prove to be without value in the Day of Judgement.

“Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper." 2 Chronicles 20:20 NJKV

That statement, if taken seriously by one searching for Truth, adequately destroys the first hope of something permanently better than their present fallen condition.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV

Quite agree. The Bible should never receive second billing to those efforts intended to point to it as the Word of God. Neither should principles of the Word be boxed in to a set of circumstances (context) that may have happened only one time in the history of this fallen planet. That method was tried when the sacrificial system (context) was set up to point forward to the Lamb of God and that system eventually deteriorated to lifeless ritual.

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
John 1:29 KJV Context, old Jerusalem.

So the word of the LORD to them will be,
"Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there...' "
Isaiah 28:13 NASB

A principle that will give body to the principle of John 1:29
