I regret to inform you that our Planey's dear wife, Jeanette, has passed away.

This was her 3rd battle with cancer.

Left to mourn are her beloved husband, Graeme, and their daughter Megan.

We here at the Adventist Forum sympathize with the feeling of grief and emptiness along with our family member. May the warmth and hugs of Jesus be a comfort to you, as well as our kindred thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your pain and sorrow at this time. Please know that I am praying for you and for Megan. Jesus understands, and you have lots of friends here at the Forum who are mourning along with you and keeping you in prayer. May Jesus come very close to you and support you with His grace and love.

I am sorry for your loss. This world is not our home. Ahead lies a world where eye has not seen nor have our hearts imagined the joy awaiting there. This world is filled with trials, burdens and pain and in the end it gives us death. Jesus has something much better for us and I pray He comforts you in this time of loss with His promise of the future.

In a recent thread, Robert made the comment "life sucks". While I understand what he is saying (and entirely agree with him) at the moment my greatest sentiment is "death sucks."

Shane, I thank you particularly for what you have said and it is that undoubted truth that is keeping me going. I will be reunited with my beloved Nette, and this time never to be parted again.

Words fail me

I wish to express my sadness at your loss. It is never easy and there will be a large hole in your lives and hearts for a long time. Thankfully, He is there for you to share your grief with Him in a most special way that we can't even grasp.

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.
