Quote:
2 Peter 3:3-7 (King James Version)
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

It is like the term "antiChrist" that is used in 1John 2:18 - many groups have denied the flood -- evolutionists as we see in the case below -- are just one of them.
The theory was that "in Origins forum", most of the people would confess this was a prophecy about Evolution. So to test the theory, you would have to post the poll in Origins forum.
Isn't that what' I said?

In a forum like this, you wouldn't have as high of a percent of people that feel strongly about the topic of origins.

Didn't reset it to zero, though I can start a new poll if you'd prefer. It stands at Yes (3), No (5), Impossible to say (1) when I moved it to Origins. Won't take too many votes either way to support (or otherwise) the hypothesis.

1. the last days scoffers -- clicking on that video above -- demonstrates the point.
2. Willingly ignorant -- they all claimed to be former Christians - but now deny that God made the world, and life and deny the flood.
3. All things continue over time - slow continuous uniform process over time
4. The world wide flood event is specifically identified as something they reject. The more you learn about those guys illustrated in that video -- the more true you find that this prediction is -
The more you follow what happened to Europe when it went down the road of evolutionism -- and then ended up in a post-Christian age -- the more true you see that this text is --

rush4hire made an empirically testable statement: a majority of people in Origins will agree that those texts in Peter are a prophecy of the rise of evolution.
That statement has been tested and disproved by the evidence.
