If you had ALL POWER at the GC level, what... would you have the GC do for a higher internet presence?

I'm not sure if the GC wants a higher/greater Internet presence or not. That would really be my first question because there is already plenty of technology available to give the GC as much Internet presence as they want (and at no huge expense), so having someone like me there isn't going to really change anything.

I would say that I guess if I woke up one day and found myself as GC President (now that's a scary thought for all concerned) I would try to leverage technology to add a missing degree of transparency to everything that goes on there, though I'm not sure if that would be welcome or not. Maybe they could add a SDA-SPAN channel to the Hope TV network and broadcast GC and Division meetings live or tape-delayed all the time. Then again it might end up not being watched by anyone just like C-SPAN here in the US. (explanation: C-SPAN is a cable TV channel in the US that broadcasts Congressional/Governmental hearings and debates--when they run out of US content, they show the British Parliament sessions instead--much more entertaining).

And to be honest, I really don't look for innovation to come from the "top" down, but rather from the "bottom" up. The Gospel will be preached because someone preached it and lived it, not because a committee took an action.
