Here is the thing: Since the prophecy in Dan. 12:10 is clear that only the wise who are living in the last generation will understand the prophecies in Daniel, then what EGW said and others who are now dead MUST be wrong. If the foundation is wrong for Doug's ministry, then all of the fruit picked from this poisoness tree is also wrong. What IF the fourth of the seven last churches in Revelation is correct in that EGW was this 'woman'? What IF the ten virgins are the SDA church? The ten virgins are NOT the bride, but they are the servants who get the bride ready during the time of trouble. What IF Paul was a false apostle? Truthful answers to these questions will show why Jesus has not come already. After all, if all we need is grace, then Jesus should have come a long time ago---right? RJ Humpal, JD

It says those living in the "time of the end" will understand. That's referring to the people of Ellen White's time. Where does it say that only those in very last generation will understand? God isn't waiting for a certain time in order to come. He is waiting for a certain spiritual condition in the church. The church is repeating the history of Israel. As a people we're in rebellion against God and His prophet just as ancient Israel was in rebellion on the borders of the Promised Land. We can't blame God for Christ's not having come earlier.
