Sorry that is not me. I have seen Star wars all of them several times and I have ALL six movies in DVD format with the extra Special effects scenes in them. We will have to get together and have a Star Wars Marathon. LOL

In 1977 I was 13 years old, and going to the cinema was pretty much regarded as sinful. I think Battlestar Galactica may have been the first movie I sneaked in to see, but Star Wars was definitely early in the history.

Never have seen the Star Wars films, either, although I have all of them on DVD that a friend gave me. I tried to get into them but for some reason they didn't appeal to me.

I saw the original first three. When they decided to bring it back I saw that as a capitalistic exploitation of a classic science fiction trilogy and that I could not participate in.

I am all over Star Wars. I was a freshman in college when the first one came out. I don't remember how many times I saw it but I have all the DVD's. That was state of the art sci-fi.

I was 7 years old when the first one came out. I remember sitting in the theater and my mom got so excited that she dumped her coke in my lap. I then promptly fell in love with Han Solo. It was a busy night.

My dh loves Star Wars too, and we got premier tickets for an early showing of Episode I--The Phantom Menace. We have all the movies in DVD's, we even have a little R2-D2 that is about two feet tall--he really works.

I've never watched an entire Star Wars movie. Does that count?

My status remains, not seen and not interested in seeing Star Wars.

The reason is that genre bores me, I make no reflection on those who enjoy it. It is very likely that the last movie I watched - several years ago - would bore many here too, so we would be even :)

(For the record it was Bride and Prejudice, the Bollywood version of the Jane Austen classic).

I never had any interest in seeing the star wars movies, so I haven't seen them, nor has my hubby.

The first star wars movie which was number 4 "A New Hope" Which came out in 1977 was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. The Special effects were cutting edge and awesome. I saw the movie three times that summer. The 1979 summer it was out for $1 for the matineas and I saw it 14 times every friday afternoon. during the 14 weeks it was showing. I got to know every line in that first movie.

Like.

"You came in that thing. You're braver than I thought." Princess Leia.

"Please don't deactivate me." C3PO. I had that sound byte on my first laptop when I powered down the computer.

"I find your lack of faith disturbing." Darth Vader.

"She's Rich" Luke Skywalker trying to get Hans Solo to join in a rescue attempt.

"How Rich" Hans Solo.

"The Reward would be more than you can imagine." Luke Skywalker.

"I don't know. I can imagine quit a bit." Hans Solo.

"Will someone get this walking carpet out of my way" Princess Leia after her rescue as she was taking over the escape back to the ship. She was refering to Chewy.

"No reward is worth this." Hans Solo. Refering to Leias previous remark.

The movie was full of action and quick comeback wit by the characters. Even the robots were loveable. C3PO and R2D2.

My two sons are huge Star Wars fans, even though the orginals were before they were born. They can recite the dialog, as little kids had lots of the action figures, etc., play all the Star Wars video games. They even read all the books. The younger (almost 18) of the two does some editing on Wookieepedia the Star Wars Wiki. I am sure they have lost track of how many times they have seen the movies. I know I lost track how many times I've seen them.

May the force be with you.
