video at
www.hopetv.org. (Rebroadcast times, January 22, 1:30 p.m., 3:30
p.m., and 9:30 p.m. ET).
One hundred percent of the funds raised through the Tsunami
Adventist Aid will go directly to Adventists who have lost their homes
and livelihoods, and to rebuild the work of the church in both the
Southern Asia-Pacific and Southern Asia Divisions. Report includes
interviews with division presidents Alberto Gulfan and Ron Watts, and a
video report to tell the stories of our members and how they survived
this horrific catastrophe.
Andrews University students and Adventist Information Ministries
are donating their services to answer the phones to take donations.
Contact:
www.hopetv.org for other broadcast times, and call
888-446-7388 to donate.
** NET 2005, "PROPHECY CODE - BIBLE SECRETS UNLOCKED!" - March
4-26 is almost upon us. It soon will be too late to register or order
materials (January 24 dead-line) for this evangelistic series.
"Prophecy Code" will be presented by Doug Batchelor (Amazing
Facts), and uplinked from the General Conference headquarters. It will
be translated into Spanish, French and Portuguese, and will be broadcast
around the world.
Since it will be broadcast on the Hope Channel, ACN, and 3ABN,
it can be shown to large groups in churches, and to small groups in
homes. But all should register in order to get materials and so they can
be listed online for people looking for a downlink locations
"Never has there been such an intense interest in prophecy,"
says Batchelor. "Wars, freak weather, deadly natural disasters, and
terrorism are devastating every inhabited continent. Millions of
anxious people are lying awake at night, asking God for answers
regarding the future.... Please pray for this series - that God will
open the floodgates and keep this important event moving forward."
The last date for ordering brochures (US$69/1000) in time to
guarantee delivery to ZIP codes is Monday, January 24.
Contact:
www.acn.info/registration.php to register, to
www.adventistevangelism.com/net2005/ to order materials and

Satellite. This series (in Spanish) is presented by Frank Gonzalez,
Speaker/Director of La Voz de la Esperanza (Spanish Voice of Prophecy),

opportunity to participate and reach out to Hispanics in their
community.

** ADVENTIST FAMILY TO BE FEATURED ON "EXTREME MAKOVER: HOME
EDITION," Sunday, January 23. Lise Wallace, a teacher at Pleasant
Hill Adventist Academy (California), sent information to the show about
the needs of the Sears family, with a daughter (Jhyrve') with special
environmental needs. Lise and her husband subsequently devoted hundreds
of hours in advance preparation for the project. The academy choir was
asked by "Extreme Makover" to sing for the arrival of the family.

New" for the full story and photos. Check your local listings for
broadcast times of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" this Sunday in
your area.
** ADRA IS INCREASING THEIR RESPONSE TO TSUNAMI SURVIVORS and is
looking at long-term development in tsunami-torn countries.
In an open letter to all church leaders and pastors, ADRA
President, Charles Sandefur writes, "In Sri Lanka, ADRA is operating a
water purification unit that processes 50,000 liters per day in addition
to supplying 300,000 water purification tablets. In Thailand ADRA is
providing protective gear to workers recovering bodies. In India ADRA
is continuing to provide food and water to 7,250 displaced people. And
in Indonesia ADRA has established a field hospital with a team of local
medical experts from regional Adventist hospitals.
"I have been so impressed by the tremendous generosity shown
by the peoples of the United States and Canada. Our North American
friends continue to provide the financial foundation for ADRA
International's response in Southern Asia and its global network.
"But we continue to need your help! Although ADRA has done
much in the initial efforts the survivors are now in greater danger.
Those who survived the tsunami face outbreaks of disease and starvation
as they are exposed to the elements and their means of livelihood is
lost."
Contact:
www.adra.org for more news, as well as flyers/bulletin
inserts, pulpit announcements, and posters that you can share with your
congregations to let them know how they can help ADRA respond to this
tragedy.
To donate to ADRA for tsunami relief and other projects, contact
800-424-ADRA or
www.adra.org. Funds are urgently needed.
