Within the last month, I've had problems posting Sabbath School lessons in that forum. The material copies from Microsoft Word and pastes into the message posting box all right, but when I start applying bold and italic I have problems. Each time I select some text and press the appropriate button the screen in the small box takes the cursor right back to the beginning of the material.

This happens both in Internet Explorer 8.0 and Foxfire 3.5 (which I am using at this moment to see if Explorer is the problem). I am running Windows XP Home Edition on an HP desktop computer, an HP Pavilion model about two years old but upgraded with about 3 meg of RAM. I am viewing this box on an HP vp17 LCD screen. For a mouse, I'm using a Micrsoft laser mouse, not wireless.

Hope someone can help you. I am not your man. But I just wanted to say again that I very much appreciate what you post. I am always blessed. Thank you.

After reading Stan's suggestion, I got out of Explorer and thoroughly cleaned my computer using Window Washer. Then I immediately got back into the forum and started on the lesson formatting. I also copied the text from the Word file and pasted in another file as text and copied from that.

For a time nothing happened. Then the screen started placing the text I working on at the bottom. Finally, it went back to normal.

It could be the cookies. Internet Explorer 8 has a feature where you can browse without creating cookies. I might try that next time.

Probably both. It seems to be a bad case of computer blues.

I suggest you before pasting here try to copy and past in simple text file. I mean its happened due to formatting

It may be due to the length of your contents.
