For those who are interested, Jay Gallimore, President of the SDA Michigan Conference, wrote about the controversy surrounding La Sierra University biology professors teaching evolution as fact.

What is missing in this regard is a "salute to the flag" coming from the UNION presidents. They are the guys that actually run the colleges and Universities.

The silence from that group of "Administrators" is deafening.

I heard from Dr. Wisbey this last Thursday. Or I should say I heard from his office. I have a meeting with him on November 2. He's also sending me a document. That should be interesting.

Thanks for that update Shane. That would be a good meeting to be a fly on the wall.

If I were Wisbey and were trying to make the case for why SDA parents should send students to my school where my SDA science professors promote evolutionism as "the best answer" for what we see around us -- I might be tempted to say something like

"some people in our religion department believe in the SDA standard view of Creation as the 28 FB state it".

"Our science professors need to inform the student about the details of evolution for when they go out into the real non-SDA work-force".

"We should not mix science and religion".

"All of our Science professors are good Seventh-day Adventists".

And then there is the classic "This thing has been given more attention, focus and importance than it deserves in my opinion".

That is my 5 second list -- we will see what actually happens.
