Brothers take out Goanna Pulling Championships
The Luxton brothers from Queensland have taken the heavy and middleweight divisions of the national Goanna Pulling Championships for the third year in a row.
The event, which has been held in Wooli on the New South Wales north coast, does not actually involve goannas.
Instead, two competitors lie facing each other on the ground in a push-up style position.
The competitors have a leather harnesses around the back of their necks, which they use to pull their opponent across a line.
Brothers Clinton and Rhys Luxton have taken out the heavyweight and middleweight divisions for the third year in a row.
They say this year's competition is among the toughest they have faced.
