Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

I just had a very encouraging testimony from a pastor's wife.

Their grandson is autistic. He was pulled out of school after the school lost track of him twice. Once they sent him home early without informing the mother and a social worker found him on the road home (they live 10km away from the school) in -4 degree weather with no mittens nor hat and his jacket undone.

Since last December when the grandparents started homeschooling him, he's jumped a couple grades and is excelling in art. The grandmother teaches oil painting in college but says that this 9-year-old is better at drawing now than she is, as a result of watching the Veggie Tales drawing instructional DVD. He also is becoming very good at music.

The grandma was just so pleased, and I was also glad that there is one more autistic child that will no longer fall through the cracks of the public system.

Praise the Lord for those Grandparents.
