Weimar has now responded, again, to my question in regard to the employment of Mr. Nelson at Weimar. In fairness them, I believe that their response should be posted, and as that thread has been locked, I post it here.
I think that thier response is a good-faith response, and it is understandable. I trust that we all can accept it as that.
Here it is:
*****************************
Again, thank you for coming to me with your question.
The WWC article was correct. I discovered within the last week or so, while cleaning out some old files, that Mr. Nelson had been employed here for two classes - Anatomy and Physiology during the 1999-2000 school year. This was a shock to me. I meant to write you immediately, but have been swamped as I work two jobs here at Weimar. I'm sorry I didn't write immediately to clarify when I discovered that information.
I did not mean to mislead you in any sense. I had checked with the president of Weimar Institute and the academic dean of Weimar College; both were of the understanding that Mr. Nelson had not been employed here. It appears to me that what happened is that he had worked here for a brief time before either the president or academic dean began to work here in 2001. So neither was aware that he had taught the two classes as a contract teacher.
Please do rest assure though, that he as not worked here since, and will not be hired in the future. We have no intentions of hiring someone accused of peadophilia on our campus. As far as I have been able learn, there was no evidence of inappropriate conduct while he was here, thankfully!
Thank you again for clarifying with us, and my apologies for not getting the information I discovered to you right away as I intended to do.

Thank you, Gregory.
That 1999-2000 timeline makes sense to me, based on what little I do know of things at Weimar in the more recent past.
