What do you find are your best Bible Study tools?
For me, if I had to choose only one, I would chose http://www.blueletterbible.org/. So much easier than that big old Strong's concordance that would cut off the circulation in my lap if I left it there too long.
This online version of the Bible is rich in resources, especially the Strong's links that are included if you click the Strong's box and use the KJV, giving you the Hebrew or Greek word, the pronunciation (audible), and the various definitions and usages.

Amen to that! I love it. There is a program that will download websites to a person's computer, aka "mirror sites" so one can go through the website even tho offline. That is one of the websites I would like to download.
e-sword
EGW, more for her inspirational thoughts and telling me what my character has to be like if I want to see heaven.
Sometimes commentaries but we are warned from relying too much on them.

To contribute to special bibles for the Jewish people that highlight the messianic prophecies, www.messianicbible.com
By Jews for Jews.
It sounds like a great study bible for everyone, not just Jews.

If you can ever find a copy of S.N. Haskell's "Bible Handbook"... R&H 1919 you will find it chock full of all kinds of interesting Bible texts and S.O.P. references on all kinds of subjects dear to Seventh-day Adventists. Any time I spot one in a church thrift shop I grab it but alas so far I have found only two. I wonder if it was ever reprinted. Nuff Sed
There is another book that we are out of that a customer just raved about and bought multiple copies of. It's called, the Sanctuary Cross by Corky Evans. The book is the size of a workbook and costs about $20.00
I have this one on hand but haven't read it yet.

Gail, I've been purusing "The Path to the the Throne of God" by Sara Pack lately. I've not gotten into deep enough to make a claim about it yet. All though I did buy the book at the ABC the entire book is available online as a PDF file.

You can find it on your Ellen White cd, pioneer side, I believe adventist archives, and https://egwwritings.org/
The Cross and Its Shadow is also on that cd.
I have Sarah Pecks "book" but haven't read it yet.

Oh, yes, I forgot about Peck's book! We sell it here but I haven't read it, either. Club, please let me know what you think once you've read enough to form an opinion.
I also picked up Andreasen's book- The Sanctuary Service. I asked Stan about it (he used to be an ABC manager) and he said it was a good one, too. I know that George Knight and Andreasen don't see eye to eye, but they are in different headspaces. (Knight sees Andreasen as legalistic)

I think Andreason is more "apologetic" and loses sight of the real meaning. I mean he is more defending the position than Christ-centered. Personal opinion, tho. :)

Does your app have a pioneer side, or just EGW?

While I have been an avid fan of the free bible program E-Sword, I just came across another free absolutely fantastic program that will seriously compete with E-Sword for my attention.

At the office supply store one can buy repositional colored tabs that are nice if one does not wish to mark up their bible. The tabs can be used for a variety of purposes, one being to mark promises. They are from 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide and come in about 8 colors. The colored part is not sticky, so sticks out and can be written on with a marker.
One use would be to mark all the promises of God, either using dif colored inks, or categorizing the promises on the colored part. On "dark" days, all one then has to do is turn to each tab.
The tabs should be distinguished from "flags" which are colored arrows that run the length of the strip, the color tending to make it hard to see the letters underneath the strip. The tabs' sticky part is clear with just the end colored.
