[i][/i]Hi everyone, i am just new here and i am quite confused where to start... Well, i have heard news about the book great controversy being banned by the RC CHURCH. I guess it will be good to know where can i get one because i would like to buy one for a dear friend of mine who is a rooted catholic...

Secondly, I have been a little p********* off with a new acquaintance who happens to be a Jehovah's witness... I am not sure how to get rid of her... I am not familiar with their doctrines and its highlights but can anyone tell me how to deal with her/them... They just keep knocking at my door...

2nd is there a Seventh Day Adventist church in your town???

if there is go visit it and ask for the book Great Controversy

3rd if you just tell the JEHOVAH WITNESSES that you are not
interested they should live you along

My guess is that it tands fo Roman Catholic.

The title you used includes the word "Illustrated." This might be in reference to a version of the book by Ellen White published by "Layman For ReligiousLiberty. Ther address is P.O. Box 908 DeLand, Florida 32721. The title of the book is: The (New, Illustrated) Great Controversy.

The text is the same as the orignal published by the SDA Church, but it contains a large quantity of color illustrations which the original version does not include.

My guess is that you could vey likely order either one of these versions online from Amazon or any other bookseller.

The Great Controversy has NOT been banned by the RC or any other Church. Those rumours are too often started by people wanting to do fund raisers.... for themselves.. It would be interested to see who started this.
