John, I notice that the depth of color changes on each picture .Why?

Don't want to speak for John, but I'd say one is the original the other two are photoshopped.

doug, I edit my pictures. Ever use Photoshop Elements or anything like it? I often post photos without the use of any editing process, but that's not typical. Most pictures need editing of some kind because cameras make mistakes. It is the same essential work that's done when you have your pictures custom developed and printed at a professional photoshop.

As you might have noticed, I frequently post several vesions or editions of a picture, sometimes one in color and another black and white, etc, etc.

Here are three examples of the campground at the Cochise Stronghold: (1) original, unedited photo; (2) cropped and edited photo; and (3) the same photo in black and white.

It isn't over yet. I'm in Quartzite, Arizona, and won't be moving on til Monday.

The b&w almost looks like snow. lol
