Hello everyone! I am relatively new to Christianity, having spent the first 40 years of my life as a skeptic and agnostic. A couple of years ago, I started exploring Christianity and with the guidance of brilliant apologists such as Ravi Zacharias , C.S. Lewis, and Greg Koukl. The study of Christian apologetics helped me to reconcile some of my intellectual objections to Christianity. My wife's interest in the Seventh Day Sabbath led me to a study of Adventism, since this was the only Sabbatarian option available in our area. The Internet is not kind to Adventists is it? I spent a lot of time reading about the Adventist Church; both positive and critical viewpoints (I found Desmond Ford to be a fascinating individual, I also enjoyed reading Alden Thompson's works). My wife and I started attending our local Adventist Church, and by divine providence, I was introduced to a truly amazing man, a former Dean of Andrews University. After many long philosophical discussions about Adventist doctrine, and meeting all of the wonderful people in our congregation, I was baptized in May of 2012.
