Is there a difference between how you and other Adventist chaplains are accepted now? and how they were accepted when you began your career?

SDAs have been accepted in the U.S. Army, and U.S. Air Force, for many years. They have been acceptd in the U.S. Navy for years, although the first officially recognized SDA to become a chaplain entered the Navy.
Chaplains began to be accepted in the Department of Veterans Affairs about 20+ years after they had entered the military.
At a later period of time they began to be accepted into positions such as in prisons.
At the present, the majority of our governmental chaplains serve in the military. I am one of the very few who serve in the VA, and fewer still serve in other governmental positions.
NOTE: There are other SDA Clergy who serve as chapalins in private hospitals. Most of those served in SDA related hospitals.

How did your fellow Chaplains from other Christian denominations accept you as a Seventh-day Adventist Chaplain throughout your career?

1) As a SDA chaplain, generally very well. I.e. They were accepting of having SDA clergy in chaplaincy. Few, to none would argue against having SDAs in chaplaincy.
2) SDA beliefs: No. Chaplains maintain their indivudual beliefs.
