honored by his home country, Ghana, with its highest civilian award.,
This is in recognition of the position he holds in the Adventist Church.
The honor is equivalent to what would be knighthood in some countries.

announced that the North American Division has added an average of 150
churches per year since the church planting conferences have been
conducted over the past 10 years.

3. Manny Cruz, Youth Director of the Texico Conference, has been
called to be Associate Youth Director of the North American Division.

4. Phyllis Washington, Children's Ministry Director of the Lake
Region Conference, has been elected Children's Ministry Director of the
North American Division to replace Noelene Johnsson who has retired.

8. Ron Carlson, Secretary of the Iowa-Missouri Conference, was
elected President of the Kansas-Nebraska Conference, to replace Jim
Hoehn who retired. Ron has served as a pastor in the Dakota Conference,
Iowa-Missouri Conference, and Northern California Conference before
becoming Conference Secretary in Iowa-Missouri.
