1. Clarence Hodges, Vice President of the North American Division,
has accepted a call to become the Assistant to the President of Oakwood
College. He will also be the Director of the Bradford Cleveland Center.
He will assume his new duties about the first of the New Year.

2. Henry Carubba, former President of the Florida Conference,
passed away.

3. The father of Mary Maxson, NAD Women's Ministries Director, has
passed away.

4. Twelve hundred people attended a lay training seminary in South
Bend, IN. Some were turned away because the rooms were filled. So many
people took part last year in the "Hope for the Homeland" series, and
more are planning to participate as the Lake Union becomes involved in
evangelistic meetings during September 2004.
