Parade Orange Registered: 01/15/05 Posts: 1150 Loc: hopefully in Church and not on...	I heard that across California(my state) ,at the end of the week, there was thousands of dead cow carcasses. Thousands! All falling over dead from the heat! I worked outside all week from 6 in the morn till 2! I am glad I didnt fall down from the heat, I am not that young anymore. and the poor chickens! I am sure their numbers were high also. They should change the name of our church here in this small town. The Seventh Day Adventist Rotting Carcass Church. _________________________ All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD "there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25 That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.

Gay4Jesus, I'm sorry all those animals lost their lives, as well as the 140 people who didn't survive this horrible heatwave in California. I am hoping that the states that are nou experiencing the heatwave will learn from what happened here and be able to save lives! The forcast is over 100 for every day this week! IT IS HOT!
