And a high percentage of the people do not even have a toilet where they live. Ghana was the first African nation south of the Sahara to be granted its independence. It recently celebrated Independence Day. Everyone speaks English in addition to one of its many different tribal dialects. Chinese is also a popular langauge because of Ghana's very close relationship to China. _________________________ John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. A student in 9th grade at an SDA school in Sunyani, Ghana, Danny has given me permission to post his photographs on the Adventist Forum. We've been chatting on IM for close to a year now. Danny could not afford to study in the high school when was younger, so he had to drop out in order to help support his family. Now he is sacrificing for his education. He lives in a small single room and often goes hungry. His parents and two older brothers live in a village too far away for visits except during vacations.
