Years ago, when I was taking bible studies, the pastor told me, we don't drink alcohol because the first thing it effects is the Pineal gland. And that the Pineal gland was thought to be how the Holy Spirit talks to us.

I have not found anything to confirm that. Search engines have a lot to say about it and mysticism. But I am curious if there is any evidence or guidance about this gland.

I think it might be important to remember the lessons of the lock-downs. Many people believe it was a trail run for final events.

Let recall the events, as best we can remember them.

In early 2020, February, there was a plane load of Chinese tourists from Wuhan vacationing on Boracay island in the Philippines. When the news came out, about Wuhan, the Philippine authorities went and rounded them up, and took them to the airport. They had the China airplane pick them up and take them home. No apology, no refunds, just get on the plane.

Adventist know what Jude says about Enoch and we see him in the lineage.

	Genesis 4:18
And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

	Luke 3:37

Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,

However, the Book of Enoch itself is not recognized as the inspired Word of God or a part of the Biblical Canon and there is a good reason. It seems that parts of it were added later or corrupted by other writers as its shifts in tone that don't fit the style and narrative of the book and the other parts of Enoch could have been authored by others so does not meet the standards for Canon. The book diverges from a biblical view, and the early church did not consider it consistent with the other books of the Biblical Canon.

The book that is held to be and is even found to exist now was not written during the lifetime of Enoch, and it shows not one but many authors from the style and uneven content, and it got widespread attention in the Jewish circles because of people thinking it was from the real Enoch. And if you notice it dwells on a area that only demons or fallen angels are concerned and mixes in just a hint of the spiritual themes to give it a cover of a religious or inspired book. But its not...

Thus, the fact that the book was written only a couple hundred years before Jesus was born makes it extremely unlikely that anything in it could be from the real Enoch. Now Christ clearly spoke about those of that time, we see it on Noah.

	Matthew 24:37-39

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And it came to the point at the time of Noah that God was sorry that He made man because their thoughts were now evil continually. Now the fact is that the Pre-incarnate Christ was been seen by men. Enoch and Noah both "walked with God" so they were both intimately known by Him.

	Genesis 5:22

And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

	Genesis 6:9

These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Yet nothing on Enoch, Jesus never quotes the Book of Enoch as canonical scripture using introductory formulas like "it is written", and it was circulated widely during this period, but not before. Notice it says that Enoch prophesized so they knew what Enoch had given about Christ.

	Jude 1:14

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

From my look into it, the book that was circulating tried to lay claim that it picked up the original writings of Enoch which appear to be the Epistle of Enoch, but then mixed in doctrines of demons and evil angels in the Book 1 The Watchers Book 2 Parables Book 3 Astronomy Book 4 Dreams to confuse what the original Enoch said. Thus Christ kept silent as He knew the truth of the matter.

We are different than most people. To me the purpose of this life, is to serve God and go to heaven. By serving Him, I mean following His instruction book, living a life of love with the focus on God and His principles. Children have been important to me, even though I started later in life. Their salvation, and my teaching to them have been important. Evangelism has been a big part of my life.

Well we had a eye opening enforcement during the Covid19 spread. During the COVID-19 "zero-Covid" lockdowns in China , residents in cities like Wuhan, Xi'an, and Guiyang were put under severe restrictions that prevented them from buying food, medicine, and necessities, or selling goods. During the COVID-19 pandemic, China implemented a nationwide system of color-coded health apps on citizens' mobile phones to control movement and restrict any purchase or selling by the person or persons. These systems functioned as a digital "good citizen certificate" which determined whether an individual could buy goods, use transportation, or enter buildings, so it was a complete social enforcement. Here is some background..

"Wang Yu, hailed by the U.S. as an International Woman of Courage, has already been arrested, imprisoned and harassed by the Chinese Communist Party for her work as a human rights lawyer representing activists, Uyghur scholars and Falun Gong practitioners. Now, her movements within her home country have been restricted by a color-coded app on her phone that’s supposed to protect people from COVID-19.

The app and its color codes have become ubiquitous in China as the country has struggled to contain the coronavirus, pushing the public to a breaking point that resulted in protests over COVID restrictions late last month. The government announced last week that it would discontinue the national color-coded health app, but cities and provinces have their own versions, which have been more dominant. In Beijing last week, restaurants, offices, hotels and gyms were still requiring approved color codes to enter.

Drawing on telecommunications network data and PCR test results, the app is relatively simple. Everyone is assigned a QR code on their phone that switches between green, yellow and red, depending on factors such as whether they’ve been in the same spot as someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (yellow) or if they themselves have tested positive (red). Only people with green codes can go about normal daily life." https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2022-12-20/china-covid-health-apps-tool-social-political-control

I was often concerned how long I would live and looked to my fathers health and my brother. Both are dead now for a while.

I am the only Adventist in the family. Now in my Seventies, I think about my brothers health and my father's health at my current age.

Both of them were sick and going down hill. My brother, a smoker until death was wheelchair bound by this age.

I praise God for my great health and for the Adventist message that placed such a focus on health.

The difference between me and them is astonishing. I continue to learn how to be a healthier person. I continue to make lifestyle changes to become healthier.

If I compare my Adventist lifestyle to others (Americans) I know who are non Adventists, I can see a huge difference. The blue zone is not about a location, It's about a lifestyle and the blessing from God.

When we think of Jesus, we often think about his life hereon earth. It's only natural, because so much of the bible talks about Him here. The whole new testament is about the life of Jesus and His instructions for our life. This is good and important. Very important.

	 In Hebrews it says:

1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 <sup class="footnote" data-fn="#fen-NASB-29953a" data-link='[<a href="#fen-NASB-29953a" title="See footnote a">a</a>]'>[a]in these last days has spoken to us <sup class="footnote" data-fn="#fen-NASB-29953b" data-link='[<a href="#fen-NASB-29953b" title="See footnote b">b</a>]'>[b]in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the <sup class="footnote" data-fn="#fen-NASB-29953c" data-link='[<a href="#fen-NASB-29953c" title="See footnote c">c</a>]'>[c]world. NASB.

But there is more to Jesus.

	through whom He also made the <sup class="footnote" data-fn="#fen-NASB-29953c" data-link='[<a href="#fen-NASB-29953c" title="See footnote c">c</a>]'>[c]world. NASB.

So the bible clearly says Jesus created the world. There is no doubt about it. Jesus is the creator God.

Now lets look at something else.

The Jesus that we reference in the New Testament, is only a portion of Jesus. When we understand the bigger picture of Jesus, it is difficult to comprehend.

The very great in size, extent, and complexity of Jesus, is beyond our human understanding.

We can better appreciate, the sacrifice he made for us. The humility of Jesus, the compassion that is beyond any human compassion.

We can better understand the great slander that the evil ones perpetrate.

As someone who has lived almost a third of my life outside the USA, I may have a different perspective on world events.

The world is filled with some unpleasant people. Many in power are selfish, cruel people. If there were no USA, communism in its many forms would rule the world.

The only thing stopping it is God.

War is terrible. But according to the Bible, war has been with us for thousands of years. The Bible shows us that God constrains evil people through war.

Since world war two, the world has been a place where many can live in peace and safety. Oh, sure there have been smaller regional wars, but overall, the world population has lived in relative peace and many cases prosperity. That appears to be changing. The new weapons of war, allow even small players to have an active role.

I suspect many people of power have been carefully studying the war in Ukraine and Russia. And now the Iran /Israel/USA war. There are many lessons to be learned there. Missiles, Drones and Electronics and Propaganda have emerged as primary weapons. I expect to see countries experiment and expand these weapons.

This is a time when we need wisdom. Where we need to draw closer to God. Things are really changing. In order to understand these changes, and to protect our families, we need the Holy Spirit more than ever.

God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is the people who love God and keep His commandments. “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ’s church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church.

I have heard all the predictions about Ai taking over the world.

But what I see now is very powerful. I am using very powerful Ai tools. Earlier I asked Ai for a recommendation for some software I could use. It gave me a table full of software with reviews and classifications. Beginner, advanced etc. It saved me hours or possible days of searching and trying these out.

These tools are allowing an explosion of user generated content. Some good and some bad. But the centralized control of knowledge is being destroyed. For centuries, a group or groups of people have been controlling the flow of information to the masses, thereby controlling them.

But we are living in a time, where a guy siting at the kitchen table with a laptop, can inform a large audience including other content creators.

Look at what is happening with the Epstein files. A huge data dump in the past would overwhelm the media and only small amounts of information would come out over time, as their systems worked through it. But in this time, hundreds of small time content creators, are publishing a large amount of info from those files. And the impact is very big.

People are resigning, retiring, hiding, some in EU being prosecuted. Reputations are being effected. Public trust is eroding in many areas. All because of this proliferation of content.

This is very revolutionary. Possibly on a scale of the Gutenberg press and the bible.

Not long ago, my long time friend, Gregory, posted about his recognition that biological change occurs across time, even to the point of the emergence of new species. He asserted that recognizing biological change across time does not make him an "evolutionist." I take his point, and I think it is valuable in several ways. First of all, it provides for rational, evidence based, common ground. I also recognize that there is overwhelming observable evidence for biological change across time--not even considering the abundant tangible evidence that life forms existed that no longer do. This all got me thinking about whether or not I am an "evolutionist." There is a sense in which I am, I suppose, but there is also a sense in which I am not. Maybe that is worth further explanation.
