	This was a quick one I did from a YouTube tutorial.

<p>
	Smith Rock State Park has been named one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon, which is unfortunate, because it is very close to use, and parking there is becoming impossible! These are only a few of the rocks. Rock climbers, slackliners, and hikers are there all the time. Someone gets killed every year because it is a dangerous place. On one of my visits, I brought a few artist friends for a day of plein air painting. I finished at home. Sonnet watercolor on Canson, 9x12.

<p>
	This was a Wet Canvas challenge. I never thought I could paint glass to look as real as it actually turned out. The whole idea is to paint what you see, not what you think should be there. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Sonnet watercolor on Canson, 9x12.

	This is an acrylic painting I did with craft paint (the kind that comes in a bottle) on top the woven table tray we take camping with us. We were parked under the REDWOODs with our Chalet camper, and of course had to memorialize the occasion.

<p>
	I am somewhat active on the Wet Canvas website, where there are dozens of subforums for all kinds of art media that match the "wet canvas" description. Every week there is an All Media Weekend Drawing Event, where a dozen or so photos are shared, you pick one, and you have two hours to finish your piece and share it. This is a quickie ink-and-wash I did of a UK farm. Most watercolor artists, I've noticed (both on Wet Canvas and on Facebook), seem to come from the UK, Indonesia, and eastern Europe. Cotman watercolors (or watercolours, since they are a UK company) in a Strathmore mixed media sketchbook, 90 lb.

<p>
	Watercolor is another hobby. Maybe one of these days I will be able to make enough to pay for the supplies. This is one of my efforts from a few months ago. I used Sonnet watercolors on the cheaper Canson paper, 9x12 inches. The reason I got started on this watercolor track is Gail Steel! We started doing a little "together" (online tutorials) a couple years ago, but I foundered and didn't really get going until last summer. Thank you for the inspiration, Gail!

	I made this tablet pouch for taking my tablet to church. I use the tablet as my Bible, SS quarterly, and for taking notes.
