Dr. Shane
I accidentally sideswiped a young girl on the expressway this afternoon as I was trying to change lanes. I was being tailgated in the fast lane and wanted to move over and let the vehicles behind me pass. I was waiting for her to pass me on the right and apparently misjudged the distance between her car and mine. She spun out of control, went into the ditch and nearly hit a road sign. I was hardly affected and had to precede to the next exit and backtrack back to the scene of the accident. No one was hurt and there is only minor damage to both vehicles. It happened at rush hour and she crossed two lanes of traffic as she was spinning out of control. She had a number of young children with her, I suspect they were her younger brothers and sisters. It could have easily become a multi-car accident and very ugly. No doubt God was looking over us. I don't know why He sometimes allows tragedy to happen and other times intervenes to prevent it. I am glad He let this high-speed accident result in nothing more than a fender-bender. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
