We have the highest property crime rate in Canada. Last year we were the fastest growing city in Canada. We have one of the best airshows in North America each year. Oregon doesn't have a federal prison but we do have a Federal Correctional Institution that is not very large, only minimum security and just for men. darlene Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Amelia, I don't really understand our Corrections Canada system that well but, do know that only about 3 blocks from our Conference Office we have a prison psyciatric hospital, a women's prison and a men's minimum security facility and a federal prison. These must be located on about 200 acres or so. Haven't had a problem at our office, yet?! We also have a couple other facilities within 20 miles.
