Dear Lil Star:

I knew Del for such a short time as we corresponded by e-mail for about a month.

We differed on many issues, but one thing we had in common which was most important was the love for Jesus.

My prayers is with your family.

When I first saw your similar user-name, I figured that there was some sort of bond, though I had no idea that you were Del Star's child.

The seed of Jesus lives on in you.

Lil Star,

I will never forget your mom. We became such good friends. We had many serious talks, but what I will remember the most is the fun pot shots we took at each other in the middle of the night. Can't tell you how many e-mails at 2:00 in the morning ended with a BWG and I gotcha ya.

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

Thank you-all for the kind words. I know that my mom was and in my heart still special. I know she talked of many of you, sometimes good and sometimes not so good but she always knew that everyone believed in Jesus. She brought me to the forums of which I had NO idea about but I guess she knew she didn't have much time left and being so she wanted me to have the interaction with those that believed in Christ.

I know that she had true friendships with people on here. The friends she had on here she would have given anything to or done anything for.

We will all really miss her and I know that she knows this. I would mention a name for the boards to her while she was coherant and she would smile. So, I know you-all meant a great deal to her.

In the beginning when I signed up on here I asked her about a name and she told me it was MY choice. So, I chose this one. I saw that some on here thought that I could have been her. But then there were times that I pretty much made it known that it wasn't her but that it was me and then my mom would come at me with an email saying things like..... You know honey they are going to know youre my daughter, do you really want that? It could bring bad intentions. Some of the people really have it out for me. I just told her that God would let me know when it was time to let everyone know that she was my mother and then one day it just came out. She wrote me an email and told me.... "now youve done it!" heheheh All I could say is "yup" with a smile at the end of it. I don't care whether or not people thought I was her or whatever. I was and AM proud to be Del's daughter in every sense of the word. I'm proud of my mom!

Lit Star, this is

THE CHRISTIAN’S “GOOD NIGHT”

by Sarah Doudney

Sleep on, beloved, sleep, and take thy rest;

Lay down thy head upon thy Saviour’s breast;

We love thee well, but Jesus loves thee best-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night!

Calm is thy slumber as an infant’s sleep,

But thou shalt wake no more to toil and weep;

Thine is a perfect rest, secure and deep-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Until the shadows from this earth are cast’

Until He gathers in His sheaves at least’

Until the twilight gloom be overpast-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Until the Easter glory lights the skies;

Until the dead in Jesus shall arise

And He shall come, but not in lowly guise-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Until made beautiful by Love Divine,

Thou, in the likeness of thy Lord shalt shine,

And He shall bring that golden crown of thine-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Only “Good-night” beloved-not “Farewell!”

A little while, and all His saints shall dwell

In hallowed union, indivisible-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Until we meet again before His throne,

Clothed in spotless robe He gives His own;

Until we know even as we are known-

Good-night! Good-night! Good-night

Knowing and believing with all our hearts that our loved ones are only sleeping; we must never cease to pray for the courage to continue on to the end holding on to the hem of His robe, because Jesus Is Enough and His Grace IS Sufficent.

Through our tears we may look to the Light and see the rainbow. Such promises are there. The rainbow is over the throne of the Father. He misses Del too. He knew she would be special from the very beginning of Earth's time.

Lil Star,

You certainly can be proud of your mom. Her posts strengthened my faith in Jesus. What great good news it is that Jesus Is Enough.

Thank you very much. It is nice and feels good to read that mom touched so many with the word of God that she gave. She brought me to find Jesus again in my life and I will forever be greatful to her for that.
