Stan
Early this morning Dr. Malcolm Maxwell died at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona where he was living with his daughter, Wendy, and her children. During the last two years he had developed post-muscular atrophy. Up until the middle of this last week when he took a downward turn, he was the Malcolm we all knew - alert, inquisitive, caring, and loving. The cause of death is unknown. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pacific Union College Church sometime in the next month. Dr. Maxwell was president of Pacific Union College for 18 years. Messages to the family can be sent through Dick Osborn at rosborn@puc.edu. He will share them with Malcolm’s children, Wendy and Kevin. Administrators Gail Posted October 1, 2007 Administrators Share Posted October 1, 2007 Was he the last of that generation of Maxwells to go? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Moderators John317 Posted November 4, 2007 Moderators Share Posted November 4, 2007 HEY WAS he the one that wrote the chldren stories??? as well as writing the study books on DANIEL AND REVELATION??? His father, Arthur Maxwell, wrote the famous bedtime stories and the Bible Story series for children. It was Malcolm's brother, Mervyn, who wrote the excellent books on Daniel and Revelation. Mervyn died about two years ago. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Yes, Uncle Arthur had four sons, Graham, Mervyn, Malcolm, and Laurence. I believe Uncle Arthur had other children but those are the sons I'm aware of. Graham has a wonderful website where you can read his books and listen to him talk about our loving, gracious God: http://www.pineknoll.org/ Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
