Liz
Here is the situation. My dh who has recently gone blind, was being flown to a facility where he is to go through evaluations to see what do-dads and gadgets would help him most in his daily life. I was supposed to go with him. My brother and sister-in-law was to keep the kidlets. The monkey wrench came when my youngest got sick. I couldn't leave her, and there is some changing of planes involved. Even though the airlines kept telling us, that they would *help*--I still felt torn. After much prayer and more time on the phone with the airlines than I care to admit too, they finally changed my ticket to be for our son; so that he can go and help his dad. WOOHOO!! This was such a blessing and a GOD-thing, dh called last night from his hotel room. It turned out that the airline staff just pointed him in the general direction of his connecting flight, had it not been for our son he could have easily missed it. Not to mention the cool bonding time that each parent is getting to have with each child. This just turned out so well, and I just wanted to share what GOD was doing for us. HE is such an AWESOME GOD!!!! Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26Please, support the JDRF and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Please, support the March of Dimes.
