Lil Star
I have a prayer request of and for myself. I ask that you all will pray with me for the Lord to help me find the true religion that He wants me to follow. I have been disheartened and I do not know which religion to walk myself towards anymore. I have a friend that is JW, but they don't sound quite right, I have another who is Catholic. I kinda like what and how they teach. Then I have a pastor that I dearly cherished when I was a young child who influenced me with Christ and the SDA religion. I am unsure now where I should go. I just need prayers. So please pray for me that I might find my way? Thanks
Members rudywoofs (Pam)
Praying for and with you, Lil Star. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Moderators Nan Posted April 21, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 21, 2008 I will pray too, Lil Star. Can I make a suggestion -that for a while, you do not worry about which religion you try to follow - just spend your time reading and thinking about Jesus, who is 'the Author and Finisher' of our faith. In His time I am sure He will lead you in the way He wants you to go.

Administrators Naomi Posted April 22, 2008 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2008 Yes, my friend, I am praying. Remember, all Adventist are sinners. All JH, Catholics, etc are sinners. Please don't let yourself get caught up in personalities, or in trying to understand everything all at once. The pathway is often difficult, with lots of pitfalls. Try to focus on God, not any of us. You've been in my prayers for a very long time, and will continue to be.......... Hang in there! You are loved, on earth and in heaven Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God

Lil Star
Thank you Naomi. I DO have friends I've met on here. Some are and will always be a part of my life. God will lead me in my life, however, right now.I think I just need a rest! This has taken its toll on me. I am very disheartened. Right now I am just DONE. Thank you for always praying for me. I pray and think of you often, and your brother and sister in law.
