Moderators LynnDel Posted May 1, 2008 Moderators Posted May 1, 2008 I heard this yesterday. The woman who teaches the clay sculpture class I am taking worked in business for 15 years. She said that during that time she noticed a big difference between how men and women handled papers dealing with tasks. The men filed the papers in vertical files, usually hanging folders, so that they could see everything all at once. The women, more efficient as usual (ahem), used horizontal trays on their desks. That way they could put the less-important items on the bottom -- and forget about them. Remember, you didn't hear it from me. Quote LD
Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted May 1, 2008 Moderators Posted May 1, 2008 Quite an interesting theory, LynnDel! Hadn't heard that angle discussed before. By the way, how do you have time to take a clay sculpting class?? Are you still teaching school? [Pardon me, of course. I'm just nosy.] Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
