jasd
I think I missed the article you referenced, “...one of McCain's appointments”. However, I ran into another article on the site..., the which, I respond. >>"He's not who you think he is" is likely to serve as the Republican rap against Barack Obama,<< [ed.jasd] “In his autobiography, Dreams from My Father, Obama discusses the influence a mentor identified in the book only as "Frank" had on his intellectual development. Obama described Frank as a drinking companion of his grandfather, who had boasted of his association with African-American authors Richard Wright and Langston Hughes during the time Frank was a journalist in Chicago.” [...] “Kincaid and Romerstein quote Kathryn Takara of the University of Hawaii, who wrote a dissertation on the life of Frank Marshall Davis, confirming Davis was a significant influence on Obama when the Senator attended Punahou prep school in Hawaii from 1975 to 1979” So, who was this “Frank”? “Frank Marshall Davis, an African-American poet and journalist who was also a CPUSA member.” CPUSA – as in Communist Party United States of America. (Joey! Joey McCarthy! Where are ye when we need ye?) Umm, it bears repeating, ‘They took the Socialist Workers Party agenda indoors – that would be – the Trinity United Church of Christ’ and labeled their activities Black Liberation Theology. Okay, a bit hyperbolic; however, there’s more. If McCain attempts to present himself all sweetness and light by playing ‘nice’ with ‘bama – he will rightly deserve to lose the election. This is the year I am extremely thankful for conservative talk shows and rightwing 527s (especially as McCain-Feingold increases McMedia’s influence this election cycle). >>...if and when the inspiring orator from Illinois secures his party's presidential nomination.<< I’ll admit that I’ve not seen all his speeches; that said, watching him speak, I’m put to mind – Breakfast with ‘bama: Bowls, spoons, sugar, and an empty box of Corn Flakes. jasd
If the above is more than legend, ...would kinda put a new spin on the Red-shirt Freshman, quarterbacking our 'team', eh?
