carolaa
This is incredible. I'm having flashbacks to the Iran-Contra hearings and Reagan's "I don't recall" mantra. Of course, it turns out he had Alzheimer's, but what is the excuse for all this forgetfulness now? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080715/ap_on_re_us/tillman_friendly_fire
Dr. Shane
The Pat Tillman case was tragic but I don't believe for one minute that this went up above the military ranks. I have been fascinated the story from the very beginning. I have read most everything I could get my hands on. I will explain the lack of recollection. In Washington everyone wants to play the "gotcha" game. They want to trap people in lies and then get them for perjury. So when a person has the slightest doubt about any event they simply say they don't recall. I often do this in my own job because I don't want to say something happened a certain way and then later discover I didn't remember things correctly. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... carolaa
Well, I find it unbelievable that all these people, who went to great lengths to cover up what really happened, now do not remember it. Nope, I think they are mostly just lies.
there buster
Did you think that when Hillary couldn't remember anything that happened before 1992? Dr. Shane
The people that tried to cover it up were the military personnel in the field. They even burned his uniform to destroy the evidence of him being killed by friendly fire. By the time the Pentagon learned the truth they had already released the false story to the media. Then they had to figure out how to handle setting the record straight. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
