Moderators John317 Posted September 9, 2008 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2008 Sam Graham-Felsen http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/blog/samgrahamfelsen He writes the "community blogs" regarding Obama's economic policies and plans. For instance Sam Graham-Felsen wrote the following: Quote: Obama on August Jobs ReportBy Sam Graham-Felsen - Sep 5th, 2008 at 10:55 am EDT Senator Obama on the August jobs report... Today’s jobs report is a reminder of what’s at stake in this election – John McCain showed last night that he is intent on continuing the economic policies that just this year have caused the American economy to lose 605,000 jobs. John McCain may believe that the fundamentals of our economy are ‘strong,’ but the working men and women I meet every day are working harder for less, the typical working age family’s income is down $2,000 since George Bush took office, and their purchasing power is as low as it’s been in a decade. John McCain’s answer is more of the same: $200 billion in tax cuts to big corporations and oil companies, and not one dime of tax relief to more than 100 million middle-class families. If I am President, I will cut taxes for 95% of all working families and provide an immediate $50 billion to struggling states so that they don’t have to cut back on health care and education and can rebuild roads and schools. That’s the change working families need right now. But he also has written for publications like The Nation and Socialist Viewpoint; the latter helpfully offers a page explaining Who We Are: Quote: The Socialist Workers Organization was formed to advance the revolutionary Marxist political program in the United States. Our members are long time active participants in the socialist and labor movements. We agree with Karl Marx that society is divided into social classes whose interests are irreconcilable. The capitalist ruling class of the United States exercises a virtual dictatorship not only over American society, but also over the entire world. This capitalist class rule is the basic cause of the poverty, wars, and the degradation of the natural environment. […] To break the stranglehold of the capitalist minority over all of society, workers need their own political institutions. Workers and their unions need to break definitively with Democrats, Republicans, and other capitalist parties, all of which are dedicated to preserving and advancing the capitalist system of social, economic and political injustice. Socialism, the ownership and democratic control of the means of production by the working class, and the removal of profit from the system of production, is the aim of Socialist Viewpoint, which reflects the political views of the Socialist Workers Organization. http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/2008/04/who_they_are_sa.html For more on Sam Graham-Felsen, see: http://thecommonills.blogspot.com/2008/04/sam-graham-felsen-stands-for-what.html http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=349802 http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=62681 http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post_group/ObamaHQ/CpHR http://newsbusters.org/blogs/warner-todd...ficial-blogger- http://www.thenation.com/directory/bios/sam_graham_felsen Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
