Woody
Quote: The General Conference in Session has voted the following principle: "The act of voting when exercised in behalf of justice, humanity and right, is in itself blameless and may be at times highly proper; but the casting of any vote that shall strengthen the cause of [injustice as in ACORN] we regard as highly criminal in the sight of Heaven." (R&H, May 23, 1865) Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Woody
Voting for the 'right' is always good advice. But those on the left might disagree with her. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 14, 2008 Moderators Share Posted October 14, 2008 Redwood: I stated that EGW urged people to vote for "right." I did not say that she urged people to vote for "The right." I happen to think that there are times when EGW would have urged people to vote for "the left." AFter all EGW was a reasonable woman. Surely we know that rason would place us on the side of the left at times. Quote Gregory
