carolaa
I thought you weren't in favor of all that expensive alternative energy garbage.
Woody
I am a member of the Pickens Plan because I was paid to be. I am a member of a plan that gives points for signing up or looking at ads. I looked at this ad for Pickens and then got extra points paid to me for signing up. Thus ... I am a member. Because when I get enough points ... I can get a gift card for places like Best Buy !! Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Dr. Shane
The best plan for the economy I can think of is drill, drill, drill. Then earmark the revenue from new drilling to fund alternative energy. That means a lot of new created wealth and it stays right here in the US. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... The oil/gas companies aren't going to be in favor of it.
Dr. Shane
The environmental groups are the biggest obstacle. The way we get around that is by writing in law that all legal challenges to new drilling must be made a priority in the courts and resolved within six months. All appeals would likewise be given priority and required to be resolved within six months. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Woody
Did you honestly read Shane's post before making this kind of statement? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Dr. Shane
Drilling more and converting cars and trucks to run on compressed natural gas is suppose to serve as a bridge to alternative energy, not energy independence. My comment is that it will create a lot of high-paying jobs at a time when the economy is turning downward. That is needed now and in a bad way. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
