Woody
According to Fox News ... The Bush Admin is outraged that Obama is releasing the Bush Secrets that were revealed when Bush met with Obama yesterday. I thought it was kind of Bush to be so courteous with Obama. Apparently Obama though was not aware of the long standing tradition for Presidents to not expose their conversations. I suppose one could blame Obama's handlers ... but Geeeez ... Barack needs some of the blame. He hopefully has a brain. I fear what the next four years are going to be like with this guy. He is already makin mistakes. Revealing Presidential Secrets is not a good idea. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology. Woody
Today Fox is describing Bush as being "angry" about it. Can you blame him? I wouldn't want the secrets out there in public. Moderators Bravus Posted November 13, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 13, 2008 I'm not gonna crow like the republicans did a few years ago about a 'permanent republican majority', but I'll be astonished if Obama isn't elected for a second term. Dr. Shane
I'm not gonna crow like the republicans did a few years ago about a 'permanent republican majority', but I'll be astonished if Obama isn't elected for a second term. I guess I never heard that. I listen to talk radio and watch a lot of new but never heard any talk of a permanent Republican majority. Actually I heard a lot of conservative commentators disgusted with how the Republicans were using their majority and warning that the Republicans were not going to maintain it. Obama has very high expectations. I have no idea if he will succeed or fail to achieve them. Nor do I have any idea how the American electorate will react. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... fccool
Americans elected Obama to fix the economy for the most part. By fix, they mean to get it the way it was before ... 8 years ago... and do it fast. I think that's the expectation of many, and it's unrealistic. At this point there's little he can do but to let the economy correct itself, or making things worse by instituting another New Deal. Dr. Shane
Well, I am not worrying about putting gas in my car or paying my mortgage. I fully trust that Obama is going to fix everything. I mean, I know he wasn't born in a manger but he was born on Krypton, has a red cape and a big S on his chest. I think he can handle it. Let's stop with all this skepticism. Let's give the man a chance to do his stuff. Sit back and get ready for shock and awe. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Woody
Having him as President is all the shock this old body can handle. Thank you. Dr. Shane
He hasn't even started yet. I think some are going to be surprised at how even-handed, fair, compassionate, loving, kind, generous, just, honorable and well-balanced this man will be. doctorj
I hope Obama can do something about the economy and also do something for the world for that matter, because otherwise we are all doomed for a huge world recession.
