Stan
Mumbai rocked by brazen terror attacks Chaos and fear gripped the streets of India's financial capital Wednesday after armed gangs stormed several popular tourist sites, took western hostages and killed at least 82 people. Seems to me Adventists stay there for a day or before or after holding meetings.. Moderators John317 Posted November 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2008 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_india_shooting Extremists were asking for anyone with UK or USA passports. News reports some western hostages and that "a group of suspected Muslim militants claimed responsibility." Moderators Bravus Posted November 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2008 Definitely horrible, but perhaps not so surprising in the light of the history of Partition between India and Pakistan. Quote Truth is important
Moderators John317 Posted November 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2008 Yes, I agree. Just wondering when they ask for UK passports, do you know if those extremists consider Canadians and Australians the same as UK? Taylor
Makes me want to have dual citizenship with our northern cousins as I don't think any Canadians were "taken" in this attack.
CyberGuy
Makes me want to have dual citizenship with our northern cousins as I don't think any Canadians were "taken" in this attack. It would seem that having a US passport when going to India or Pakastan or the middle east is a liability at times. I would rather have a canadian passport as well when traveling to those countries. I remember when the US embassy was stormed in Iran in 1979 a small group of americans made it to the canadian embassy. There the embassy gave them canadian passports and smuggled them out of the country right under the noses of Iranian Guards. Needless to say the canadian government shut down their embassy when they left with the americans. Quote Riverside CA
Stan
Those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb have their Citizenships in Heaven, we just need those (earthly) Passports to go about HIS business to travel. Dr. Shane
Since we now need our passports to cross back and forth on the boarder, I always carry mine in my wallet as I go to Mexico frequently.
