Rebecca Woehl, 91, Jamestown, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown. Rebecca Netzer was born Jan. 1, 1917, in Gackle, N.D., the daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Schlaht) Netzer. She grew near Gackle where she attended school and worked on various farms in the Gackle area. She was raised in the Seventh-day Adventist faith. She married Leon Woehl on July 15, 1948. They lived in Cleveland, N.D. In 1954, they moved to Jamestown. She lived in Gardenette, Jamestown, from 1983 until she entered Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center in 2006. She enjoyed birds and quilting.

She is survived by two daughters, Melida (Don) Schwehr, Jamestown, and Lillian Woehl, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; two sons, Arnold, Jamestown, and Jack, Broken Arrow, Okla.; a sister, Caroline Cook, Tacoma, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Lenora; three sisters, Rachel Wagner, Ruth Bailey and Leah Roush; and a brother, Daniel Jr.

Rebecca Woehl Private family service: Tuesday, Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. today, Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Cleveland Cemetery, Cleveland.
